What makes the MNI database
unique?
- FIRST HAND RESEARCH: Our 80-person editorial
team scours new company start-ups, chamber of commerce lists, trade journals,
newspapers and literally hundreds of other credible sources to pinpoint
every U.S. manufacturer. Then each company is contacted by phone and asked
up to 30 questions. After the initial company profile has been established,
each manufacturer is contacted multiple times annually for an update. We
spend in excess of $3 million each year researching and keeping our database
up-to-date and complete!
- DIRECT CONTACT & RESPONSE: We mail to each
manufacturer at 3-month intervals. Bad addresses are immediately corrected
or deleted. We also fax each company semi-annually to make sure fax numbers
are active and correct. Companies also verify their phone, executives, number
of employees, business description and other elements semi-annually. We
make over one million phone calls each year! The entire database is CASS
certified and delivery point verified weekly. And all updates are continuous
and ongoing. In short, we discover and quickly correct the outdated information
so our customers don't have to. We don't know of any other database compiler
that goes to these great lengths to ensure accuracy and freshness.
- IT'S OUR SPECIALTY: Researching and profiling
U.S. manufacturers is all we do. We have no interest in adding as many names
to our database as possible so we can sell more records. You'll find no
"liberal classifications" here. We know there are only 400,000 bonafide
manufacturing companies in the country. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
confirms that number. So if someone tries to sell you a list of "645,000
U.S. manufacturers", be prepared for 40% junk.
